- To plan and co-ordinate Re-Gear and Packing Plant production schedules in line with the company's forecast and delivery commitments.- Duties & Responsibilities:
- To co-ordinate the planning of production schedules from the company's forecast and sales delivery commitments.
- To co-ordinate the stock required for accurate and timeous production with the Materials Planner.
- To ensure that all pre-production requests are completed and submitted by Sales.
- To ensure that all scheduled jobs are opened.
- To manage and co-ordinate daily back-order reports.
- To co-ordinate the stock supply from the Warehouse to the production facility.
- Report daily on production progress.
- To co-ordinate weekly production meetings to discuss progress and address any issues.
- Co-ordinate with Sales or Logistics when units and kits are complete.
- Report any problems, issues and losses to Department Head.
- Perform any other duties as required by Management-
**Inherent Requirements**
- High School Diploma (Grade 12/ National Senior Certificate) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production and quality processes.
- Ability to work in a faced-paced environment
- Ability to work overtime
- Skills:
- Understanding production planning, processes, quality & warehouse management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
- Strong work values, EG. Excellent time management, the ability to multi-task, being dependable with a positive attitude.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Highly efficient skills with proven experience in co-ordination of production processes.
- Ability to retrieve, analyse and input data.
- Excellent Mathematical ability.
- Outstanding organisational and co-ordination ability**What Qualification**
