Job description
My client seeks a competent Sales Executive who has wholesale experience in selling a tangible premium products in the Homeware/Jewelry/Furniture/Cosmetic industry.
This position has a basic salary as well as a competitive commission structure and includes other benefits.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain existing & new B2B Partners;
- Launch, implement and maintain new Digital Partners;
- Acts as the interface between the Partner and the Company;
- Represents the Partner and speaks on their behalf when necessary;
- Determine the true value/potential of the Partner;
- Identify short and long term growth opportunities;
- Conduct contract, price and margin negotiations to maximize sales opportunities;
- Review and negotiate SLA and compliance agreements;
- Take meetings, attend brief in’s with Partners, make calls
- Partner interaction, effective communication and visits ;
- Strong focus on visual merchandising and training;
- Respond to Partner communications and queries;
- Develop proposals, quotes, suggested orders, etc;
- Suggest solutions that answer to the Partners wants and needs;
- Proposal presentations;
- Drill into any hesitation, frustration, or request to uncover root issues;
- Listen in a manner that the Partner feels heard;
- Conduct regular account reviews;
- Manage Partner projects from concept to finalization;
- Help develop initiatives to increase Partner satisfaction and retention;
- Anticipate key account changes and improvements;
- Provide feedback on existing products, new trends and potential new product development opportunities;
- Regular interaction with Ops with regards to quality control and logistics of goods and deliveries to Partners;
- In-depth understanding of Partners promo calendar;
- Actively promote and support promo activities ;
- Participate in Tradeshows, Homeware & Gifting Industry events;
- Updating CRM system (daily)
**Sales**:
- Meet and exceed sales targets - as per budget;
- Activate new Stockist or Digital Partners (2 monthly);
- Prospecting (via customer referrals, Mall Guide, Business Directories, networking and social media)
**Minimum requirements**
**Experience**
- Sales & marketing - 5 yrs
- Experience with digital partners/retail partners
- Tertiary education advantageous
- Advanced computer literacy
**Physical Requirements**
- Valid RSA driver’s license;
- No flying or travel restrictions (health or legal).
- Able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards;
- Able to maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance;
- Committed to working the applicable business operating hours.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

- Sales in wholesale: 5 years (preferred)
