As we expand, we’re looking for a proactive and driven individual to join our Business Development Team. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll contribute to the company’s growth while developing your skills in the evolving property sector. Our support staff are primarily based in South Africa, employed by Block Management Solutions. We also maintain a co-working space in Stellenbosch for occasional meetings.
**JOB PURPOSE**
The **Marketing and Business Development Assistant** will play a key role in supporting the Business Development Team, leading marketing initiatives, and driving new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in **sales, marketing, and business development**, preferably in the property sector.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Client & Stakeholder Engagement**: Identify, qualify, and nurture leads into clients. Build relationships with property developers, freeholders, and leaseholders. Support outreach efforts, including cold calling.
- **Marketing & Branding**: Develop marketing materials (brochures, proposals, presentations) using Canva. Ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- **Market Research & Competitive Analysis**: Conduct research to identify opportunities and translate findings into effective strategies.
- **Business Development Support**: Assist in prospecting new leads and maintaining relationships to drive business growth.
- **Database Management**: Maintain and update CRM systems, segment leads, and track marketing performance.
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3-5 years' experience in **sales, marketing, or business development**, ideally in property or real estate.
- Strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with CRM tools and content creation platforms (Canva, Pipedrive).
- Analytical mindset to make data-driven marketing decisions.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach to work.
- Passion for property and willingness to learn industry trends.

**BENEFITS**

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Based in **Cape Town** for occasional in-person meetings and company socials.
- **Stable fibre internet (50 Mbps+)** and a quiet home workspace.
- Availability for a **trial day** to assess skills.
