- Receives planning information and job initiation details from manager/technical management and creates a sub-job in the system.
- Updating, planning, and, recording details, labor hours & costs relating to work orders.
- Obtaining authorisation for release after passing credit vetting for outsourced work.
- Liaising with the Warranty function and administrating warranties for components (as authorised by the technical function).
- Performing the acceptance on the system & generating a picking slip for the warehouse.
- Liaises with Parts function with regard to work orders.
- Verifying, checking, and, filing all documents in the manual file.
- Arranges and monitors transport of components in conjunction with technical staff.
- Administrates overtime claims.
- Administrates the process for new suppliers/procurement
- Monitors workflow in the execution of jobs within set timeframes.
- Monitors backorders
- Reports problems and issues immediately for resolution.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Diploma
- 2 years work experience.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Microsoft Office: MSExcel, MS Word.
- SAP: Planning, work orders, quotations.
