Are you an experienced tourism professional with a passion for creating unforgettable safari experiences? We’re looking for a **Reservations Consultant** to join our Cape Town head office team.

Sun Destinations represents a handpicked portfolio of authentic bush camps and luxury safari lodges across Southern Africa. Our properties are chosen for their outstanding locations, owner-managed hospitality, and exceptional wildlife encounters.

**About the Role**

As a Reservations Consultant, you’ll work closely with trade partners locally and worldwide, managing the full booking process from enquiry to confirmation and amendments. You’ll ensure each itinerary is seamless, accurate, and tailored to deliver the best of the Sun Destinations experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
❖ Analyse booking requests from agents and provide expert recommendations from within the Sun Destinations portfolio.

❖ Prepare accurate quotes and itineraries.

❖ Load, confirm, and manage reservations in our booking system, including all amendments and updates.

❖ Provide detailed information on accommodation, travel logistics, and transfers.

❖ Maintain strong relationships with our lodge teams and trade partners.

**Requirements**:
❖ Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in the tourism industry, ideally in reservations.

❖ Knowledge of ResRequest is highly beneficial.

❖ Tertiary Education is advantageous.

❖ Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

❖ Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to work under pressure.

❖ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

❖ Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

**Important**:

- This is an in-office role based in Cape Town, Monday to Friday.
- Only applicants currently residing in Cape Town will be considered.
