- BSc/BEng/BTech degree in Civil Engineering
- Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa
- Up to eight (8) years’ related experience required
- Extensive management and relevant technical experience at a

senior Level in the bulk water supply field
- A valid Code EB driver’s licence.

Key Performance Areas
- Identify, prioritise and manage short
- and long-term capital and

operational projects and budgets relating to bulk water supply

operations
- Manage the formulation of specific contracts and tender

documents and control contractual obligations
- Develop and manage service level agreements and contracts with

other branches and with external service providers
- Direct and control outcomes associated with utilization,

productivity and performance of personnel within the Technical

Services group of Bulk Water operations
- Direct and control a professional technical team to ensure

operational outcomes associated with bulk water supply

**functions including**: water treatment, ground water management,

water quality, data management, decision support systems, small

capital projects and repairs and maintenance
- Provide Engineering guidance and maintains technical standards

within Bulk Water Operations.
