WATER AND SANITATION WS 105/24 Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
**Requirements**:

- Degree/BTech in the Built Environment.
- 5 years’ Managerial experience at senior level in the

Technical/Engineering field.
- Valid Code B/EB Driver’s License.
- Experience related to tenders and contracts, relevant legislation,

regulations, policy procedures, project management,
Water customer consumption profiling and analysis, asset
care processes, customer relations, reticulation network,
metre management practices, technical metering process
and function, grey water management.
- Experience in Informal Settlements and Stake Holder Management

Key Performance Areas
- Manages, co-ordinates, controls and assumes responsibility

for Basic Services (sanitation typologies and taps) operations.
- Manage section by developing, drafting and implementing

processes, policies, practices and standardized procedures
pertaining to technical and statutory requirements and
monitoring the enforcement thereof.
- Directs and controls outcomes associated with utilization,

productivity and performance of contractors and subordinates
in providing basic services in informal settlements.
- Controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
- Manages the formulation of specific contracts and tender

documents and controls contractual obligations.
- Collaborate & actively participate within the Audit,

Risk & Governance, Controls team to continuously improve
the team's processes, and capabilities.
- Manages the key performance areas and result indicators

associated with the research, development and implementation
of best practices in basic services provision informal settlements.
- Managing and Administration of staff.
- Manages the continuous improvement of basic services in

informal settlements and understand different Stake Holder's
obligations in terms of the services provided.
- Accurate management and reporting of information for improved

decision making.
