**Pack Leader**

Pack Leader operates 3 branches in Cape Town, KZN, and the Central Distribution Centre and Head Office in North Riding, Johannesburg, from where the role will be based.

The role requires an individual with a tertiary qualification.

Expert skills in Excel are a prerequisite with the ability to perform If Queries, Vlookups and Pivot Analyses at a minimum.

It is a preference that the individual has knowledge of some supply chain planning technology such as Inventory Optimisation, and Routing and Scheduling software.

+5 years of work experience is required.

The role reports into the Supply Chain Planning Manager. You will receive guidance in aspects of the role, while at the same time, needing to support the SC Planning Manager with many of the administrative tasks so as to ensure a smoothly operated supply chain.

**Main Purpose of the Role**

To provide a professional, efficient and effective service to support the general functioning of the business.

As Supply Chain Coordinator, your role looks across supply chain functions from purchasing to customer delivery, and returns; and across regions

**Key Responsibilities**:
Forecasting, Inventory Purchasing and Inventory Deployment
- The role assists planning of optimal ordering on suppliers as well as incountry deployment, considering leadtimes, stock availability and demand offtake to minimise inventory levels while maximising product availability
- Liaising with suppliers and clearing and forwarding agents to ensure the coordinated and smooth flow of product into South Africa
- Report on shelf life and product expiry

Transport and Distribution Planning
- Assisting with running routing and scheduling software as required
- Liaising with longhaul suppliers booking collections and deliveries

Other
- Administration of data capture and data integrity on Dear and Xero to reflect inventory ordering and deployment, and transport and distribution planning
- Working with warehousing upstream and Sales and Invoicing downstream to ensure integration across functions
- With warehousing incorporated into the department, tasks and projects will also extend into the warehouse
- Any other ad hoc duties
