**_Job Purpose_**
The Lead - Content is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Content Strategy which results in the availability of an Agile content factory. The position collaborates with the departments of Marketing, Sales, corporate communications, internal communications divisions of Cipla SAGA region to create a content repository by therapeutic category, by focus brand to provide readily approved content for usage across all channels and all mediums.

**Major Activities / Tasks**
- Design, Develop and implement a content strategy
- Develop compelling content that emotionally connects with our audiences and encourages them to act by integrating brand and data-led campaigns as a key part of our content strategy, for both external and internal audiences.
- Create customer-centric content journeys, narratives, and corresponding assets for each campaign, by bringing the relevant teams together in advance and leading them throughout the content process
- Lead the audit of existing content on the company’s website for brand voice, relevance, and optimisation, working closely with internal teams
- Design the Agile Content Factory
- Conduct a needs analysis with all stakeholders to establish what content is required and to prioritise content creation.
- Deliver a roadmap to articulate the timelines associated with the content creation and curation.
- Document and execute the core communication requirements by each business vertical, therapeutic area, and focus brands.
- Identify and document the best process to transfer intellectual property into content that is utilised across key channels.
- Interview key stakeholders. Including but not limited to: Marketing Managers, Marketing Directors, Product Managers, Head of Digital, Head of Internal Agency, Regional Sales Managers to establish the right content, in the right format and to map out the development of the content plan.

- Deliver a content repository including long-form and short-form content that can be utilised across all channels. Including, but not limited to: E-Detailers, Website content, packaging, packaging inserts, patient leaflets, CEP (Customer Engagement Platform) related content
- Implement the Agile Content Factory
- Compile and where necessary write all required content in the required format such that automated workflows can be created utilising pre-existing content.
- Timeously deliver approved content by all stakeholders (as per above-mentioned process) including RA, QA, Legal etc.
- Engage and deliver the content plan for the Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) (in consultation with key stakeholders)
- Work with key stakeholders to map an appropriate customer experience journey (CX) and the associated lifecycle communications that are required.
- Design, develop and implement (write) all lifecycle communications.
- Work with internal stakeholders to review performance of the lifecycle communications and improve the content based on customer research and feedback.
**Educational qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or related communications field.
- Postgraduate or Further Accreditations preferable e.g., SEO writing.
**Relevant experience**:
- 10+ years’ experience as a respected leader in multichannel content creation.
- Experience creating compelling messages in B2B writing essential.
- Experience in Digital mediums, most especially social media content creation and curation essential.
- Pharma sector or regulated/medical industry experience preferable.
- Proven ability to create relevant brand and customer stories.
- Proven ability to create content strategies and implementation plans.
- Proven ability to translate scientific language into consumer speak.
- CEP content creation and experience in development of customer journeys preferable.
**Relevant skills**:
- Passion for content marketing and storytelling
- Be tech savvy and willing to use tools and technology to manage workflow and execution of content delivery.
- Proven editorial skills. Outstanding command of the English (or primary customer) language.
- Proven B2B writing skills with associated Business Acumen.
- Training as a print or broadcast journalist and has a “nose” for the story.
- Training in how to tell a story using words, images, or audio, and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience (it is critical that the Lead - Content retain an “outsider’s perspective” much like that of a journalist.)
- The ability to lead, inspire, and organize large teams of creative personnel and content creators to achieve company's stated goals.
- Skill at both long-form content creation and real-time (immediate)
