**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
- Main administration, processing and coordination of IOD’s, funeral claims, disability claims and fund related queries.
- Ensure effective administrative tasks being actioned in accordance with processes and procedures.

**JOB- RELATED REQUIREMENTS**
- 2 years experience in a general administrative role
- Excellent Administrative skills
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Hands on experience in using MS Office
- Organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of HR processes & procedures will be an advantage
- Excellent Communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) MUST be pedantic about attention to detail and data accuracy
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Previous experience in IOD’s and Provident fund administration (incapacity, death and funeral claims etc)

**TERTIARY QUALIFICATIONS (S)**
- Any qualification or certification in Business or Office Administration will be considered an advantage

**COMPUTER LITERACY LEVEL**
- MS Package (especially Excel)

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**General**:

- Record keeping and file maintenance
- Providing Fund benefit statements upon request
- Providing new Fund entrant certificates and pin letters
- Bi-monthly induction presentation
- Printing annual long service award certificates
- Checking and submitting ICAS monthly invoices for payment
- Preparing a monthly report of all claims logged in the month
- Adhoc HR administration

**Administration of funeral claims**:

- Receiving and submitting funeral claim documents on behalf of the employee to the relevant insurers
- Ensuring that the standard required documentation is provided
- Following up and communicating the status of the claim

**Disability/Incapacity administration**:

- Notifying the relevant insurer of a potential disability claim
- Keep track of deadlines
- Regular follow-up with the business and employee for outstanding documents, additional requirements etc.
- Liaise with the insurer for feedback and communicate to HR, Payroll, and fund administrator

**Wellness**:

- Plan, arrange and co-ordinate wellness days on a national basis
- Distribute regular health/ wellness communication
- Maintain the Wellness information on Share Point

**IOD/ WCA**:

- Submitting workman’s compensation documents for all IOD claims
- Ensuring all standard required documentation is provided
- Following up on outstanding documents and claim numbers
