**Duty Manager.**

5* Beach Boutique Hotel -Ballito - Dolphin Coast KZN

Responsibilities include:
1. Providing a visible management presence while on duty.
2. Ensuring each department is prepared and staffed for each shift.
4. Running of weddings, functions & conferences during each shift.
5. Monitor health and safety throughout the hotel.
- Overlooking day-to-day operation of the whole facility
- Communicating with customers (handling complaints, collecting ideas on improving the operation, providing information, selling facilities, checking premises, reporting any damages and breakdowns and checking if repairs have been completed)
- Communicating with employees (problem solving, distributing work duties, providing all means to get the work done)
- Assisting other heads of departments with their work

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 plus diploma/certificate in Hospitality Industry/Tourism

Preferably 3 years previous duty management experience in 4* or 5* Boutique hotels
Computer software skilled
Passionate about the hospitality industry
Excellent interpersonal
- & communication skills
Strong customer service orientation with excellent people skills
Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments and across cultures and religions
Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
Must be well-presented
Honesty, Flexibility and Accountability
Friendly, helpful and outgoing
Professional manner and attitude
Natural warmth and friendliness
Punctual & self-disciplined
Extreme attention to detail
Good basic computer and administration skills
Flexible to work night shift

**Salary R 15 000 Live/out**
