Job Overview
The position will be based at Goedehoop Colliery and will report to the Site Manager.

Provide technical support to customers on maintenance, operations in the event of breakdowns.

Key Job Responsibilities
Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

Provide technical support to customers on maintenance, operations in the event of breakdowns
Assist with fault diagnosis to ensure the machinery is operating to its full potential
Provide technical support on products to optimize the lowest cost per ton
Conduct machine inspections/audits, reports on finding and give recommendations and feedback
Maintain machine records on Joy Global platform
Provide on the job coaching and best practice in maintaining the Joy Global machines.
Identify customer development needs
Promote Joy Global by making every customer a reference
Maintain a zero harm safety standard

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Skills and experience required

Grade 12 / N3
Fully qualified Electrician / Millwright with Flameproof and Gas Testing certificates
Drivers’ license and own reliable transport
Must have done Joy relevant courses
Must be computer and database literate(MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
JNA I and JNA II and VFD experience is crucial
DC & AC shuttle cars experience will be an advantage
05 years’ experience on underground equipment
High level knowledge and experience of Joy and Fletcher equipment
