**Your role at Clorox**:
The National Key Account Manager RSA role is a key role within the RSA business, managing Key Customer relationships for all Clorox Brands in RSA.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager - SSA, the National Key Account Manager is a key member of the local sales team. The National Key Account Manager is responsible for the development and the implementation of assigned accounts specific business plans; achieve account profitability and sales targets; serve as the primary account contact; and provide account leadership. Manage, drive, align the Sales agencies with Clorox strategy ensuring store alignment with promotional activities.
**In this role, you will**:
- Developing and managing outstanding customer relationships aligned to the individual CBP’s to meet business objectives across Retail, Wholesale and AFH (Where Applicable)
- Prepare and conduct monthly/bi-monthly business reviews with all specified Key Accounts and report back Trade Contact Report to business.
- Drive sustainable account growth with the right execution (Assortment/placement/planograms/branding/promotions & pricing)
- Contribute to and implement the Sales Strategy and align to the business strategy
- Develop and manage customer strategies to meet business objectives.
- Assess gaps, competitor activities and opportunities in the market.
- Formulate and design customer service delivery systems and processes.
- Develop the best route to market and the channel plan for all customer segments in order to achieve the targeted service levels.
- Develop and implement customer activity plans to reach agreed sales targets.
- Monitor and review customer activity plans.
- Manage, drive, align and interact with the Sales Agents on a regular basis across all regions to ensure they deliver maximum results and 100% execution of store initiatives. Initiate ‘’on the job training’’ where necessary.
- Conduct monthly sales and cycle brief meetings.
- Drive execution of store initiative through alignment of the Sales Agents.
**What we look for**:
**Experience**:
- 2-3 Years National Sales Key Account Experience
- FMCG Experience Advantageous
- Excellent Written and Oral Presentation
- Clear Excellent communication written and Oral
- Ability to execute with excellence
- Proven Ability to Multi task and set priorities
- Ability to drive participation, passion, excitement and action through cross functional teams.
- Ability to accept input from multiple influencers and translate into effective and actionable sales initiatives.
**Educational Level**:
Business degree / Marketing degree / Relevant 3 year qualification
**Technical skills**:
High level of analytical and financial literacy (advantageous)
