**International Sales Consultant - Johannesburg Gauteng**

**Salary: R30k CTC Fuel Card & Commission**

**Purpose of Position**:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an International Sales Consultant for the Courier & Freight industry, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The purpose of this role is to ensure that new business is brought on board in line with budget requirements by successful prospecting and effective negotiating skills.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the domestic and international courier industry.
- Own transport - reliable and trustworthy
- South African Citizen, Clear criminal and credit records

Skills And Knowledge:

- Experience of Courier / Road Freight Industry
- Extensive International sales courier experience
- Good knowledge of International courier services - inbound and outbound freight
- Computer literate. (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- A clear understanding of Freight Audit Reports
- Excellent communication & client relations & service orientation skills
- Professional Presentation Skills
- Business development skills
- Proven track record of new business sales & client retention
- Attention to detail & follow up skills
- Administrative skills
- Good planning & organizing skills

**Duties**:

- Acquire new business, in line with budget requirements, by successful prospecting, and effective negotiating skills.
- To build strong and effective relationships with Key Account Customers in line with our customer centric business model.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with ISO procedures
- Manage the pipeline of opportunities from current and prospective customers to ensure that sales goals/strategies can be met. This includes qualification of opportunities within the pipeline, proper prioritization of activities, and management of time and commitments to ensure priority opportunities move through the sales cycle.
- Close sales prospects, to meet sales goals/strategies and contribute to company profitability.
- Complete all sales paperwork promptly, thoroughly and accurately, to ensure company profitability and maximize our ability to deliver a high-quality solution and minimize potential problems or issues in service delivery or invoicing. This includes all new account documentation and sales reports.
- Ensure that reports are continually and accurately up dated with progress on prospects.
- Frequently engage / communicate with account/customers
- Manage customer perceptions of services provided
- Ensure all new business accounts are implemented timeously and effectively.
