As one of our countries most established REITS, this real estate investment fund has managed to purchase a wide range of properties all over South Africa and East Africa to ensure year on year growth.

To join their dynamic team in Johannesburg they are looking for a Human Resources Generalist. You will be reporting to the Head of Finance to deliver RemCo reports, as well as being responsible for all HR functions for an office consisting of around 35 employees.

The ideal person would need to have strong administration skills, along with knowledge of labour relations and SA employee statutory regulations. Typical tasks would include end-to-end recruitment, employee on boarding and induction, drafting of HR policies and procedures as well as implementation thereof. You will oversee the payroll function, but the system is outsourced, however it will be your duty to review reports before final submissions. Other responsibilities include providing relevant information for BBBEE scorecards, compliance and any adhoc administration.

This role would be suited to someone that has a Matric Certificate, a Degree in Human Resource Management, 2 years of experience in a similar role, extensive experience in Employee Management and relevant laws such as LRA, BCEA, UIF, etc. To be successful in this role you will need strong Microsoft Suite skills, the ability to communicate effectively and a high level of integrity.
