**Well known meat processing company, based in Cape Town has a vacancy for an Operations Manager. If you have solid, meat (cooked and uncooked) processing and management experience, are internally driven and enjoy problem solving, this could be a great opportunity. The roles will require the ability to maximise existing resources and innovate to improve current operations.**

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12/relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 7 years Meat processing experience
- Minimum 4 years Operational Management experience
- Must have own car and valid drivers license

**Duties**:

- Achieve 100% of sales orders delivered
- Procure the required stock at the best prices
- Reduce stock losses to 0.5% of turnover,
- Improve and maximize efficiency (space utilization and machines)
- Improve and maximise staff productivity
- Reduce and minimize overheads
- Investigate and resolve security concerns
- Implement and maintain the Capital Asset Management programme
- Site Manager relief as and when required, for as long as needed
