**As a**
**Pricing and Business Process Manager**
**you will be responsible for the following activities**:
**B2B Pricing and Costing**:
- Carry out pricing, margin analysis, competitor, and market trends to enable B2B to grow in the marketplace.
- Identify opportunities to optimise profitability through pricing strategies in B2B.
- Assess all rebates (including rebates for excellium) pre-offer proposal and during the tenure of contracts across the B2B segments.
- Participate in tender proposals and strategic sales contracts negotiations in all B2B business channels by evaluating supply costs and providing market pricing trends.
- Monthly analysis of profit and loss account in B2B which includes analysis and reporting of operational expenditure and gross margin after variable costs and being the transfer price gate keeper across all B2B business lines.
- Participate in the LTP and budget process by providing assessments of margin and market trends.
- Prepare daily and monthly pricing dashboards.
- Create, maintain, and update all GMVE pricing calculators used by B2B to compute the expected GMVE on all sales offers.
**B2B Back Office Strategy**:
- Partake in analysis of all business offers including and not limited to all OM+, IRRMA and post investment analysis in support of B2B’s continuous profitability and make recommendations where applicable.
- Manage the operational dashboard on SAP including but not limited to Investment open orders, daily fuels sales report, credit on hold customers and product orders open in the system for an unreasonable time, purchase requisitions, capturing of debit and credit notes.
- Manage the expiry diary of all B2B contracts.
- Regular update and management of all B2B master data.
- Manage the onboarding of all customers to e-fuels ordering and daily operations support.
**HSEQ**:
- ensure constant adherence and compliance to company HSEQ and security standard, local by-laws, standard and legislation.
- Report at least one near miss per month

- Ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset management for area of responsibility.
**Context and environment**
- The management of pricing and business processes management is a fundamental part of the B2B business as the market has become extremely competitive with customers being continuously swayed by price and added-value support to the customer.
- This role is key in supporting B2B to remain robust and agile in responding to a rapidly changing business environment.
- A lot of cross functional interaction is required across the TMSA organisation as some of the systems used by the team are managed in other departments.
- You will be responsible for tracking and analysing the performance of the B2B business to make recommendations and share insights in the operational and growth strategies of B2B.
- Ensure coherence in the commercial offers given across B2B to limit the notion of cannibalisation across the business sectors.
- Accountable and responsible for the efficient workings of B2B back office which will enable efficient operation of the frontline staff.
**Qualification / Experience Required**:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or Finance.
- Have commercial and economics awareness, including an awareness of global economic factors that can influence the oil industry, is important.
- Require good reporting and analytical skills, including carrying out weekly and reporting on trade.
- Able to scrutinize tender documents and be aware of changes in the market as well as complete and analyse tender documents.
- Able to cope with working across a range of areas in a busy and commercial environment as well as work with mínimal supervision.
- Have a natural aptitude in mathematics and can think analytically.
- Knowledge of commercial fuels market in South Africa as well as the excellent understanding of the petroleum regulatory framework in South Africa.
