Job Overview
The position will be based at on the Thungela Account and the incumbent will report to the Site Manager.

Provide technical support to customers in the event of breakdown situations and assist with fault diagnosis to ensure the machinery is operating at its full potential.

Provide technical support to customers in the event of breakdown situations and assist with fault diagnosis to ensure the machinery is operating at its full potential.
Drive Joy vision and mission.
Drive productivity improvement and quality performance.
Drive machine flawless startup and capturing of information as well as to give feedback to the organization.
Promote Joy through building customer relationships by providing superior and professional customer service and support.
Drive trials, MCA’s and new product developments

Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum Skills and experience required

Grade 12 or N3
Qualified Electrician / Millwright with N3 qualification
Flameproof and Gas Testing certificates
Driver’s license and own reliable transport
Must be computer literate (MS Word, Ms Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint)
Experience of JNA II (RIO I and RIO II), Joy VFD shuttle cars
Fletcher Roof bolters knowledge will be an advantage

At least 5 years’ experience on JOY underground equipment (CM’s etc.)
