Apex Group is looking for suitable, motivated and team-oriented professional for the position of PMO Coordinator in Cape Town or Johannesburg. This is a full-time hybrid role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package. The PMO Coordinator will assist the Head of PMO in the administration of PPM tools, ensuring the quality of project portfolios and supporting the definition of the Project Management Framework. In your first few weeks in this PMO Coordinator role, you can expect to: - Be familiar with the processes during the full project lifecycle and how they relate to projects - Ensure project methodology is adhered to and submitted documentation is consistent with existing standards - Organise and lead training for the PPM team re PPM process and PPM tools - Manage incoming project requests and work requests - Support for the Head of the PMO, Project and Portfolio Management teams; - Produce portfolio reports and analyses for different stakeholder groups - Collect and analyse project data, and generate reports, graphs and presentations as required The successful PMO Coordinator will be proactive and a self-starter who hase a knowledge of project management functions and methodologies. You will also need the following: - 1-3 years in a PMO coordinator/Administrator role - Understanding of project methodology and key metrics - Proficiency in MS Project and Excel - Attention to detail - Good presentation and communication skills.
