**Operations Administrator (Tracking Clerk) - Learner**
**PURPOSE**
Our client has a vacancy for an Operations Administrator (Tracking Clerk) based at the container depot in Cape Town, Salt River. The position will report to the Ops Supervisor/Manager. Rotational Shifts and weekend work will be required. This position liaises with Management, Employees, Suppliers & Customers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring that every container is tracked in /out using the Depot Management system.
- Capture all documentation into company specific computer system and resolves any
queries brought forward. **Send daily stock summary to all customers and update yard team with status updates.**
- Work closely with Supervisor/Manager by supplying daily stock sheets.
- Reconciliation between system tracking versus physical tracking to be completed daily.
- Update all relevant statuses of containers moving from work areas completed before end of shift.
- Updating and accurate record keeping of gate in & out sheet.
- Assists with monthly stock takes.
- Customer queries are responded to within reasonable time of receipt
- Tracking reports management every hour
- Check bookings and capture into Company Info system and liaise closely with operations team to advise of any stock shortages
- Reconciliations need to be done on a daily basis
- Follow up with customers on outstanding bookings
- Ensure compliance with customers standard operating procedures
- Have good housekeeping of all delivery documents
- Ensure there are no gate delays
- Manage container and pre-allocated seals.
- Engage in any ad-hoc duties as and when required.
- Ensure that HSSE compliance.
- Build good customer relations with customers and hauliers. **Minimum qualifications and experience**:
- Matric Certificate
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- High attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Prior experience in operations and depot functions would be an advantageous
- Own reliable transport
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: R5,500.00 per month
