**JOB SPECIFICATION**:

- The main tasks and responsibilities associated with the position are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list of tasks and responsibilities and any other tasks and/or responsibilities that could be reasonably expected for the position may be required- Key Performance Areas:
- Processing, reconciling and maintaining all financial accounts and documentation:
- Processing of all general ledger entries and supply invoices.
- Preparing of daily cash flow forecast.
- Reconciling and processing of creditors invoices.
- Reconciling of bank accounts.
- Reconciling of petty cash accounts.
- Reconciling of General ledger.
- Preparing and reviewing of reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Account and expense payments via EFT.
- Ensuring management accounts are accurate and complete.
- Maintaining and reporting of fixed assets records.
- Liaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Preparing month-end journals.
- Processing and submitting of VAT.
- Maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Balancing subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
- Balancing on a monthly basis all Intercompany loan accounts within the group
- Creditors reconciliations
- Adhoc exercises as required by management**Inherent Requirements**
- Matric- Relevant Bookkeeping/Accounting qualification or someone with no qualification but many years of experience- Full accounting function and statutory payments experience- Computer literate**What Qualification**
- Bookkeeping/Accounting
