To build a Digital Enterprise Agility Practice that will enable acceleration of Absa’s outperformance strategy through digital transformation. At core is:

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Strategy:

- Contribute significantly to the orchestration of digital transformation across Absa Group to support BUs in operationalising their strategies ensuring that the implementation plans are executed with agility to enable the organisation to transform quickly and effectively so it can adapt to everchanging market conditions.
- Develop and communicate new digital ways of working (dWoW) principles, toolbox / playbook and roll out plan that will be accessible and adaptable to enable all areas of the organisation to implement dWoW and ensure consistency in the approach across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the Group to identify and capitalize on opportunities for business process optimization.
- Define, plan, and implement enterprise-wide transformational initiatives, in partnership with business and function leaders and other stakeholders, ensuring that initiatives are successfully landed in scope, on time and within budget to enable a future fit, outperforming organisation.

Organisation Design:

- Contribute to the design of organisational structures and operating models that will promote efficiency and performance and promote agility to enable the organisation to achieve its vision, strategy, and objectives.
- Build and maintain a responsive, proactive, and business aligned Digital Enterprise Agility Centre of Expertise for the bank. This will include setting up structures and processes and defining the required skills and competency frameworks, learning pathways and delivery mechanisms that will enable the realisation of the transformation agenda and an agile digital enterprise.

People:

- Advise, support and coach business leaders on their agility transformation journeys, enabling them to acquire the required skills and to implement the dWoW in their respective domains in order to grow the business agility capability and to influence the organisational culture.
- Lead and manage the pipeline, recruitment, on-boarding, development, performance, motivation, and retention of the Digital Enterprise Agility team to enable a high-performance culture while encouraging continuous improvement and innovation and increasing employee engagement within the team.
- Develop high performing Digital Enterprise Agility professionals through ongoing opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and coaching to produce a pool of highly competent agile coaches who will enable effective business transformation.
- Build impactful and scalable Digital Enterprise Agility coaching and training programs, in collaboration with external training providers where required for various audiences across the organisation to embed dWoW across Absa.

Risk, Regulation. Prudential and Compliance:

- Establish and implement metrics to measure the adoption of dWoW across the enterprise, report on the key indicators and where there are significant discrepancies, contribute to root cause identification and remediation to enable enterprise-wide adoption and progress against transformation objectives.

Financial Management:

- Manage the Digital Enterprise Agility budget, measuring the financial impact of all decisions and realisations of business cases to ensure a consistent and significant return on investment.

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
- Digital Enterprise Agility: Expertise as a certified trainer and practitioner in a wide range of methodologies that can be leveraged to drive digital enterprise agility. Experience in at least one agile scaling framework, e.g. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Large Scale Scrum (Less), Discipled Agile FLow for Enterprise Transformation (DA-Flex).
- Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC): Knowledge and understanding of the standards and phases of developing new products that enable customers to achieve their outcomes, with seamless experience.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Knowledge and understanding of the standards and phases of implementing new systems or software.
