Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Switchboard Operator to answer incoming telephone calls at the IALCH switchboard.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Incoming Calls:
- Greey callers in a friendly and proffessional manner, following the Switchboard Script OP/TM/03/IALCH
- Answer all calls promptly, aiming for minimum 15s answer time
- Take detailed messages when users are not available
- Pass messages on as soon as possible
- Provide accurate information to callers at all times
Caller interaction
- Adhere to the general telephone etiquette in form FM15 Switchboard assessment of Telephone skills
- Handle difficult callers with respect and diplomacy
- Follow all Switchboard Procedures
Emergency calls
- Keep and updated emergency contact list
- Make emergency calls as required by client
- Keep a record of emergency
Switchboard database
- Update th information continuosly as received
General
- Adhere to TFS House rules and Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Systems (SHEQ)(ISO 9001,ISO 14001 & ISO 18001)
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Computer literacy on MS Packages (Word, Excel, Access)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Telephone etiquette
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to plan, organise and control own work effort
- Ability to manage more than one situation at a time
- Ability to display proffessionalism
**Qualifications**:
- Grade 12
- Secretarial or Telephone Certificate/Diploma would be an advantage
- 1 - 2 year's experience in similar environment
- Customer services experience
- Experience on busy electronic board
