**Academic Coordinator in the Department of Political and International Studies (Global Partnership Network - GPN) 20 hours per week, 3-year contract**
**Main Objectives**
Participating in the coordination of the activities of the Global Partnership Network, an international research network which partners with universities and civil society organisations all over the world.
**The Requirements**
Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) (Honours advantageous) in Humanities or Social Sciences with at least one year’s relevant experience, where such experience includes:
- Experience in academic coordination, program management, or international partnerships/networks;
- Experience working as a member of a team;
- Interest in the thematic areas of the GPN (partnership in development cooperation, the global economy and knowledge production);
- Familiarity with academic research processes and university structures;
- Previous experience in setting up and maintaining databases would be an advantage;
- Previous exposure to global networks or international collaboration projects would be an advantage; and
- Previous social media management would be an advantage.
