**Eduvos**is looking to employ an** IS Programming Lecturer** at our **Nelson Mandela Bay**campus on an independant contract basis.**

**Type of appointment**:
**Independamt Contract**

**Purpose**:

- To lecture Information Technology-related modules, in the faculty on an independant basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum qualifications required**:

- Bachelor of Science Information Technology or a similar degree (NQF level 7 or above) within the field
- Focus on programming / software development

**Experience**:

- 1 - 2 years or relevant lecturing experience advantageous
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Modules to be lecturered**:
Various higher certificate level related modules with at least one ofe of the following programming languages:

- Database Management (SQL Server or MySQL)
- Java,
- C# Programming
- Python Programming

**Responsibilities**:

- Lecturing
- General administration
- Setting and marking of assessments
- Preparation of notes and additional study materials
- Quality Assurance
- Management of At-risk students
