Duties:

- Place and accept telephone calls.
- Liase with staff in other departments and with external contracts.
- Maintaining diaries and arrange appointments.
- Typing, preparing, and collating reports and filling reports.
- Managing housekeeping and laundry related files and databases.
- Implementing new procedures and administrative systems.
- Provide Housekeeping department orientation and walkaround for new housekeeping staff and trainees.
- Assign Housekeeping Tasks.
- Create Staffing Schedules.
- Manage training to Housekeeping staff.
- Investigate and address complaints regarding poor housekeeping services.
- Assign housekeeping tasks to staff inspect work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
- Overseeing staff performance on daily basis.

- Have a friendly, welcoming, and full of life attitude.
- Good typing skills and basic computer skills.
- Great personality.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask.
- Effective communication skills.
- Work well in a team.

Education
- High School Certificate.
- Diploma in Hotel Administration, Secretarial or Housekeeping needed.
- Previous supervisory responsibilities preferred.
- Proven Housekeeping experience needed.

Salary market related.

Must reside in Paarl. Own transport essential.

Must be willing to work on public holidays, weekends, and long hours as per hospitality industry requirements.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From R5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
