**Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper.**
**The successful incumbent will be responsible to ensure that all rooms and public area’s in the housekeeping department are cleaned and maintained in accordance with Marriott International Hotels. To ensure that standard operating procedures are implemented at all times.**

**Required Experience & Qualifications**
- At least 2 years’ experience in a team leader/ Supervisory position in a five star hotel
- Good communication skills
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to supervise and direct staff
- Ability to work without supervision
- Attention to detail
- Computer Literate
- Conflict resolution ability
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment
- Customer and Service Delivery focused
- Flexible working hours as well as available to work weekends and Public holidays as per operational requirements

**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete all daily duties as set out in departmental duties and requirements.
- Checking, and cleaning when required, of rooms according to standards & ensuring checklists are completed on a daily basis.
- Run sold room and verify room status
- Determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms
- Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments
- To interact, guide and motivate staff on all levels to be in a position to deliver exceptional and world-class service.
- Ensure accurate stock take.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant room with Front Desk
- Co-ordinate Housekeeping activities with other departments.
- Conduct daily briefings with all staff and ensure proper planning is done for each shift.
- Perform duties within the Housekeeping department as and when required
