**_ Position Purpose:_**
- Lead the function by providing direction and co-ordination of psychometric assessments. Implement, establish and manage
the Transnet Assessment and Development Centre and processes and related activities and analyse and interpret employee
- testing data.
- Oversee and implement assessment related projects and initiatives ensuring high quality results are delivered professionally
and ethically.
- Maintain the assessment services in all Transnet Operating Divisions within established guidelines and standards.
- Drive and lead the development of Functional and Behavioural Competency frameworks in support of management and
specialist career paths
- To provide Transnet with integrated processes, systems and support so that clients have the necessary information to
employ, develop and manage staff within their area of responsibility.

**_ Position outputs:_**
Talent Assessments and Competence Management:
- Formulate and develop Transnet Assessment Operating Model and Assessment Model in compliance to relevant regulation
and legislation
- Ensure the Transnet Assessment Centre complies with the HPCSA requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in the development of processes within the relevant
area of specialisation
- Implement strategic functional related projects and associated change, and provide required technical input
- Drive thought - leadership on Talent Assessments for Executives across Transnet
- Define and lead organization wide projects focused on continuous improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement in portfolio effectiveness, efficiency and productivity, through constant review
- Drive the management and implementation of the functional and leadership competency frameworks for career pathing to
meet the development needs of the Group while enhancing business performance.
- Design and implement customised talent assessment processes, batteries and practices that meet the talent needs of
businesses in line with Transnet's strategy and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and Implement employee selection and development assessment processes for all Transnet Operating Divisions
and Group
- Evaluate the suitability of available assessment services and offerings to address business specific needs.
- Ensure data integrity of assessment reporting across the organisation
- Lead the development and implementation of assessment policies and constantly review to ensure alignment to best
practice and legislation
- Oversee operational assessment projects for all ODs by supporting assessment teams to ensure efficient delivery according
to Service Level Agreement and constructive relationships with stakeholders
- Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
