Oakham Wealth Management, a UK-based investment management firm, is seeking a highly organized Administrator / Investment Support Assistant to join our remote team in. As a boutique company, this role is essential for supporting our investment and client services teams, and it offers opportunities for professional development based on individual skill sets and ambitions. This role is ideal for someone experienced in remote working and who lives within an easy commute to Stellenbosch, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Liaison:

- Respond to email inquiries about investment portfolios.
- Ensure client queries are addressed by the appropriate team members.
- Execute client instructions, including payments and third-party communications.

Client Management:

- Prepare documentation for client meetings and follow up on action points.
- Onboard clients and facilitate asset transfers efficiently.

Investment Support:

- Conduct investment research and create reports.
- Review ESG policies and take minutes during investment committee meetings.

Administrative Tasks:

- Maintain a daily task list and manage ongoing projects.
- Liaise with custodians to ensure accurate client portfolio records.
- Monitor client cash levels and adjust portfolios as needed.

Additional Support:

- Assist with marketing initiatives and projects led by the CEO.
- Track B Corp Impact assessment data and engage with other B Corps.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, including the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with financial markets, investments, and wealth management.
- Experience with Linked In and other social media platforms for business development.
- Knowledge of FCA and GDPR compliance is advantageous.

- Salary Range: R20,000 - R25,000 per month, depending on experience.
