Bookkeeper (Half Day)

**BOOKKEEPER / OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR - HALF DAY**
**Stellenbosch**
Exciting HALF DAY opportunity available for an experienced Bookkeeper.
The incumbent will report directly to the Financial Manager and will be responsible for the full accounting function up to Trial Balance.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Creditors
- Process all Supplier invoices/credit notes based on proper supporting documentation.
- Supplier reconciliations, weekly and monthly preparation of payment packs
- Liaise with suppliers in case of enquiries
- Supplier bank processing - payment allocations
- Calculate monthly creditors cash flow projection when required by Financial Manager
- Capture accurate production invoices for monthly stock figures
Debtors
- All Functions relating to Debtors management
- Process sales invoices and ensure all supporting documentation is in order, accurate and complete.
- Monthly Debtors reconciliation and statements sent to customers for payment
- Liaise with customers in case of enquiries
- Debtors collection process.
- Calculate monthly debtors cash flow projection for a rolling three months
- Accurate foreign debtors accounts to be submitted for debtors insurance monthly.
- Capture sales orders and loading on transporters portal for timely collection
Bank
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Allocate payments received and supplier payments to correct accounts and cost centres
General
- Assist with audit preparation
- Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks
- VAT returns and VAT recons
- General ledger reconciliations
- Liaise with UK based bottling company weekly on orders received and delivery dates
**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & Skills required**:
- Suitable tertiary qualification
- Diploma in accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in Pastel Partner or similar
- 5 years’ experience as bookkeeper
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
