**Job Summary**

CTU Career Chatz is seeking a dedicated and skilled Programme Coordinator for the Higher Certificate in Management and the Bachelor of Business Administration in Project Management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to ensuring that our students receive a high-quality learning experience while staying at the forefront of industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chair weekly lecturer meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist with aspects of Programme accreditation to maintain the highest standards.
  • Manage Programme Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Set up Programme Curriculum structures on LMS according to accreditation requirements.
  • Upload learning material to LMS to facilitate student access.
  • Analyse and report on national results to inform Programme development.
  • Approve student applications to ensure Programme integrity.

Assessment and Moderation

  • Moderate all formative assessments to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Identify areas of concern on formative assessments and provide a corrective action plan.
  • Monitor that students receive quality feedback on assessment.
  • Coordinate internal and external moderation on summative assessment.
  • Identify areas of concern as a result of moderation and propose and implement corrective action.
  • Quality assure exam schedules and exam venues.

Programme Content

  • Develop and review learning material to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate the development and review of learning material by appointed developers.
  • Quality assure the content of learning material developed.
  • Prepare and deliver a programme review report based on PAC, student and lecturer evaluations as well as industry research results.

Staffing

  • Staff planning to ensure adequate Programme support.
  • Conduct staff performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify required staff development to enhance Programme delivery.
  • Develop staff development plans to support Programme growth.

Student Support

  • Liaise with Campus operation Managers to identify students at risk.
  • Develop a student support plan to ensure student success.
  • Monitor implementation of support plan.

Requirements

  • Minimum NQF-8 Qualification in an appropriate field.
  • A Master degree would be advantageous.
  • 3 – 5 year lecturing experience in Higher Education.
  • 2 Years experience in learning material development.
  • Knowledge of CHE requirements.
