Cybersecurity is a top priority at City Logistics, and we are looking for an IT Security Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our network and systems from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
  1. Security Monitoring:
    • Monitor the security of endpoint devices using Microsoft 365 Defender.
    • Analyze daily reports from McAfee database to identify potential security risks.
    • Monitor traffic coming through our firewall using Forticloud.
    • Review IPS reports daily to identify potential security risks.
    • Check device compliance using Microsoft Intune and clean up stale devices on O365.
  2. Patching and Server Administration:
    • Perform daily checks for vulnerabilities on our server using Rapid 7 and patch them as needed.
    • Servers are rebooted after hours throughout the week and every Sunday.
  3. N-Able Patch Management:
    • Perform monthly auto-patching, where Windows updates are pushed to our servers.
    • This includes manually approving updates for each server.
  4. Identity and Access Management:
    • Create VPN accounts and domain accounts, and issue credentials to users.
    • Modify or remove user access or rights on our network.
    • Keep an accurate register of external users with access to our network, updated daily-weekly.
  5. Documentation:
    • We compile company security policies and standard operating procedures.
    • Understand CIS 18 Controls and report on them.
