About the Role:
The eThekwini Municipality is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join its team. This role will be responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and administering information technology security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, control, and operate server and application security systems and infrastructure.
- Implement IT security systems and fault management support procedures for assigned systems.
- Monitor IT systems and analyze logs to identify potential security threats.
- Advise on weaknesses identified and provide recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma in ICT related field and an Information Security certificate.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Degree in ICT related field and an Information Security certificate.
- 4 years of relevant experience.
