About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Leader to join our team as a Learning and Development Program Manager, focusing on Economic Transformation. This role will drive the development and implementation of learning programs that promote economic growth and transformation in South Africa.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with our business objectives and economic transformation goals.
  • - Collaborate with senior leaders to design and deliver learning programs that address the needs of our organization and stakeholders.
  • - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • - Provide guidance and education on learning and development to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • - Represent our organization at industry events and conferences, promoting our commitment to economic transformation.
  • - Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in B-BBEE legislation and regulations, ensuring our organization remains compliant.
  • - Manage relationships with B-BBEE verification agencies and collaborate with our B-BBEE team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements:

We are looking for a senior leader with a strong background in learning and development, preferably with experience in economic transformation. The ideal candidate will have:

At least 10 years of relevant work experienceDemonstrable experience as a senior leader and/or senior Learning and Development ProfessionalDemonstrable knowledge and experience on the B-BBEE legislation, including DTIC Codes of Good PracticeDemonstrable ability to draft and present detailed reports, policies, and manage the B-BBEE verification processSuperior technical expertise in the interpretation and application of B-BBEE legislationAbility to work independently with minimal guidance and exercise good judgment
