Senior Group Benefits Administrator

Bryte Insurance Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Group Benefits Administrator to join their team in Johannesburg.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Life Products and Employee Benefits. They will be responsible for processing monthly billing and allocation, identifying and allocating premiums receipted, and extracting member data for comparison.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly billing and allocation with accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and allocate premiums receipted, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
- Extract member data and perform comparisons to ensure accurate reporting.
- Update the in-house system with relevant changes and maintain data integrity.
- Liaise with brokers, fund, and employer contacts to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Balance payments and bills monthly, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure timeous follow-up for outstanding premiums and information, resolving any queries or concerns.
- Assist in working with business divisions to align activities with TCF and POPI requirements and best practices within the industry.
- Premium confirmation for claim payments, where necessary, to ensure accurate reimbursement.
- Perform ad-hoc queries and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Relevant business qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Business Administration.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Group Risk/Life administration.
- Strong understanding of Life Products and Employee Benefits, including premium receipt and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines, demonstrating effective time management and organization skills.
- Desire to learn and be flexible to business change, with a willingness to adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
Salary: R400,000 - R600,000 per annum, depending on experience.
