As a Heavy Vehicle Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing guidance and direction to technical staff members">
  • Prioritizing work orders and assigning them to appropriate workshop staff">
  • Maintaining vehicle records and repair data">
  • Responsible for inventory records of supplies and parts">
  • Responsible for the professional development of all workshop staff members">
  • Practicing safe work habits and using personal protective equipment as required">
  • Routinely inspecting all workshop equipment and workshop area to maintain a safe environment for employees">
  • Reviewing and approving completed work orders">
  • Communicating with customers and staff">
  • Handling all quality control">
  • Ensuring that daily labor targets are met">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Grade 12/Matric Certificate">
  • Excellent communication skills">
  • A qualified technician with a strong technical background">
  • Experience leading a team of technicians">
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role as a Workshop Foreman">
