About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our marketing efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa. As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive product adoption and growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Expertise: Provide local market insights and expertise to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Product Development: Work closely with product teams to develop and adapt products for African users and businesses.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement Google's marketing plans for consumer and advertiser products in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team to manage all Google marketing efforts across SSA.
  • Budget Management: Manage the SSA marketing budget and advocate for the needs of the African markets.
Requirements
  • Experience in marketing and product development in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
