Sales and Business Development Representative

This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who excels at identifying and securing new business opportunities through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice and solutions to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market research.
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field will be highly advantageous.
- 5-7 years of sales and management experience in a similar industry will be essential.
- Previous experience within the Chemical and Hygiene industry is essential.
- Strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Candidate must have sound understanding of business processes and have strong financial acumen.
- Demonstrate technical competence in Chemistry and/or Microbiology will be advantageous.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
