Job Title: Insurance Senior Call Center Advisor

At WNS Global Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Senior Call Center Advisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound customer telephone calls and initiate customer calls as needed.
  • Provide customers with accurate and timely information.
  • Take proactive steps to retain customers and resolve their inquiries efficiently.
  • Identify customers' needs for other business units and maintain policies and change details as required.
  • Maintain the accuracy of customer data and process payments from customers.
  • Handle customer concerns and objections in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to underwriting guidelines and compliance regulations when conducting business with customers.
  • Follow best practice procedures and participate in regular coaching sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in a call centre environment, preferably within the insurance field.

Behavioural Traits:

  • High degree of patience and assertiveness with excellent rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to positively contribute and lead in team activities.
  • Takes pride in work and maintains effective time management.
  • Has a positive attitude and the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Effective emotional intelligence (EQ) and a team player.
  • Flexible and self-motivated.

Additional Information:

  • Afternoon and night shifts - Monday to Sunday (rotational shifts).
  • Candidates are required to have fibre or live in a fibre-enabled area.
