Southern Africa Business Development Lead

Sapics is a leading Global Logistics Solutions Provider looking for a highly skilled professional to lead our Southern Africa operations. As Head of Commercial Solutions, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple capabilities by developing and executing business development and sales strategies.
This role requires a strong background in sales and business development, particularly in the transport and logistics industry. You must have significant experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining our Southern Africa capability business development strategy, growing our existing offering within an end-to-end supply chain, and leading commercial coordination within the portfolio. They will work closely with business and capability leaders to develop integrated solutions and products for our clients and principals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies
- Define our Southern Africa capability business development strategy

Requirements:
- Relevant post-graduate degree
- A minimum of 15 years' experience within the transport, logistics, or supply chain industry
- Significant sales experience across multiple capabilities with a proven success in selling integrated end-to-end solutions
- Work experience in Southern Africa
- Exposure to and working knowledge of all facets of contractual requirements
- Thorough understanding of logistics and supply chain industry
- Demonstrated success in introducing existing and new/emerging solutions into various markets
