Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to drive business growth
  • Conduct executive-level sales engagements to build relationships with key decision-makers

  • Collaborate with the technical support team to demonstrate competitive advantages and build trust with customers
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Diploma in Sales and/or Marketing
    • 8-10 years of sales experience in the commercial sales sector
    • Infrastructure software sales experience would be advantageous
    • Experience selling software products to Government, Municipalities, and Senior Engineers
    • Technology savvy - Proven proficiency in the use of software packages such as the MS Office platform and web-based CRM tools
    • Experience in new business selling (cold calling / opening new doors)
    • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for closing deals
    • Ability to explain product features and benefits in a way that stands out over competing brands
    • Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies
    • Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous client companies
    • Code 8 driver's licence with own transport
    • Willing to travel away from home for at least two weeks a month
