Job Title: Financial Administrator

Hlabahlosile is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and prepare timely financial reports for management.
  • External Annual Audit: Coordinate and facilitate the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and prepare and submit all necessary tax returns and reports.
Secretarial:
  • Statutory Filing: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory documents, including company registrations and annual returns.
  • Statutory Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory records, including company registers and CIPC records.
  • Meeting Minutes: Draft and distribute meeting minutes, and ensure that all actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records, including employee records and company profiles.
Administration and IT:
  • Operations Systems: Ensure the upkeep, automation, and digitalization of our operations systems.
  • Registers: Maintain accurate and up-to-date registers, including asset, employee, and access registers.
  • Company Profiles: Maintain accurate and up-to-date company profiles, including banking and international organogram information.
  • Office Management: Ensure the efficient management of our office facilities, staff, and consumables.
Payroll:
  • Payroll Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies and procedures in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process for all employees.
  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Payroll Reporting: Provide accurate and timely payroll reporting to management.
  • Legislative and Regulatory Submissions: Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
B-BBEE:
  • External Advisory Service: Coordinate and facilitate external advisory services to ensure compliance with B-BBEE requirements.
  • External Rating: Facilitate and assist with external rating processes to ensure compliance with B-BBEE requirements.
  • Reporting and Planning: Provide regular reporting and planning to the EXCO on B-BBEE matters.
