**Job Title:** Financial Operations Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Scateck Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation, review, and presentation of management accounts, including financial statements and reports.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly profit and loss statements, as well as annual budgets.
  • Process month-end accrual and provision journals, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reconcile all inter-company loan and trade accounts, and maintain the company's fixed asset register.
  • Review and upload payments on the banking platform, and manage monthly cash flow projections.
  • Oversee the year-end audit process, including preparation of the audit file.
  • Prepare VAT payment preparations and reconciliations.
  • Provide overall management of the finance team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BCom) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team.
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to provide financial guidance to support business growth.
