We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Clerk to support our finance team in managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in all financial operations.

- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Assist with bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, to stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Assist with VAT returns and other tax-related duties to ensure compliance.
- Respond to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and expertise.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to finance as required to support the team.
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent with a qualification in finance or accounting (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software (e.g. Pastel QuickBooks) to streamline financial processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry to minimize errors and ensure quality.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve financial goals.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not required.
