Strategic Energy Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Energy Business Development Director to lead the expansion of Puma Energy's Future Energies business across all verticals. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to drive growth and develop commercially sound business cases.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic business development opportunities through commercial customers, driving the prudent growth of Puma Energy's FE business.
- Explore new opportunities within the energy sector that align with Puma Energy's Future Energy business strategy and build business cases to drive conversion.
- Drive integration between Puma Energy's existing business lines and future energy segments to position the company as an integrated energy provider.
- Build a target-oriented team focused on business development across markets, with clear KPIs.
- A minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in B2B and retail energy sectors, particularly in CNG/LCNG, solar, LPG, and LNG.
- Experience with utilities, EPCs, and IPPs is preferred.
- An engineering background or equivalent is preferred.
- A postgraduate degree in business administration/sales is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen and above-average literacy in financials.
- Leading people and strong influencing skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Financial acumen to manage a P&L.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Fluent English.
