About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Accountant to join our team at Sagen Advisory. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in providing exceptional accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Manage and oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reporting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Cloud-Based Accounting Solutions: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement efficient cloud-based accounting solutions for clients, leveraging the latest technological advancements.
  • Accounting Best Practices: Provide expert advice on accounting best practices, ensuring clients' financial processes are streamlined and optimized for efficiency.
  • Mentorship and Teamwork: Assist and mentor junior team members, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Client Communication: Engage in regular communication with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Continuously monitor changes in accounting and tax regulations and industry trends, communicate with relevant colleagues, and assist in effective communication to team members and clients alike to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Credentials: Professional accounting qualification such as CA(SA), PA(SA), or CIMA, and a Bachelor of Accounting degree or similar.
  • Experience: Proven experience in an accounting management role, preferably within a cloud-based accountancy firm, with a minimum of 5 years' related experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in at least one cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks Online, FreshBooks) and adept at leveraging technology to streamline accounting processes.
What We Offer
