Make an impact at NTT DATA
As a Senior Cloud Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for pursuing and landing qualified leads identified by the Client Management team and other respective teams. Your primary goal is to present solutions, value propositions, partner configurations, cost structures, and revenue models to clients that meet their needs.
Your role at NTT DATA
You will work directly with clients at various levels, as well as internal subject matter experts. A significant amount of time will be spent on engaged selling or supporting the sales process in partnership with Client Managers. You will contribute to the pre-sales process by working with pre-sales architects to create the best solution design for the client, as well as building and developing excellent stakeholder relationships with new and existing clients, while developing new business channels and territories.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new cloud customers
- Identify and qualify leads, transforming them into loyal customers
- Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of our cloud solutions
- Partner with technical teams to understand customer needs and craft tailored cloud solutions
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a win-win outcome for both our company and the client
- Manage existing client relationships, fostering trust and driving upsell and renewal opportunities
- Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and cloud industry trends
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns to generate leads
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the cloud computing industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving ambitious targets
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and deployment models (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A self-motivated go-getter with a passion for technology and exceeding expectations
