Administrative Paralegal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Support Coordinator to join our team at Sharon Nurock Recruitment CC. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Salary: R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing exceptional administrative support, with a focus on attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for maintaining our Partners' and Professionals' diaries, coordinating meetings, and preparing documentation. Your strong organizational skills will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
In addition to your administrative duties, you will also be responsible for typing dictations, preparing documents, and filing and organizing paperwork. Your knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CMS/Adarant, and Billback will be essential in performing these tasks.
Requirements- MATRIC essential;
- Degree or Diploma in a Paralegal/Legal Secretarial qualification;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm;
- Familiarity with Local Government issues;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CMS/Adarant, and Billback.
- Maintain Partners' and Professionals' diaries, including coordination and liaison with relevant parties in regard to meetings;
- Dictation typing;
- Prepare all documentation for appointments and travel;
- File, organize, and maintain documents;
- Open and close legal files in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures;
- Organize and maintain legal files in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures;
- Assist in handling legal administration requirements;
- Assist in preparing and processing legal documents;
- Print all correspondence, pleadings, and documents and file same;
- Perform general office administration and management;
- Follow up with clients regarding payments and log all client contact;
- Compile and submit weekly outstanding reports to Accounts department;
- Ensure compliance with FICA;
- Keep track of Attorney time records and billing;
- Monthly invoicing in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures.
