Sales Responsibilities:

  • Sell products by establishing contact with potential customers and providing them with information about our solutions.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers by providing ongoing support, guidance, and recommendations.
  • Visit customers to understand their needs and quote them accordingly.
  • Follow up on quotations and ensure that customers receive timely updates.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data related to sales performance.
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing company standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Invoice customers and manage stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Perform deliveries when required and follow up on customer backorders.
  • Plan and conduct customer visits to promote our products and services.
  • Making cold calls to expand our customer base and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Arrange and conduct demonstrations of our welding machines to showcase their capabilities.
  • Adhere to all job-related administration tasks and perform any additional duties as required by management.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum qualification of Matric and/or a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (advantageous).
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the welding industry.
  • A valid Code 8 driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Familiarity with welding machines, consumables, gas cutting equipment, and other related tools and equipment.
