Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Stonehage Fleming. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering the attraction and recruitment of high-quality candidates to support the company's hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the Group Talent Acquisition Manager and other team members to ensure delivery of a professional service to the business and candidates.
2. Meet with business managers to discuss current and planned hiring needs and agree on a strategy to achieve a successful outcome.
3. Manage job applications from various sources, ensuring candidates have a positive experience and building a strong pipeline.
4. Collaborate with TA colleagues to build and nurture a pipeline of quality talent suitable for future vacancies.
5. Stay up-to-date with best market practice and employment laws in South Africa.
6. Support TA and HR projects to meet Group hiring objectives and enable business growth.
7. Monitor recruitment and talent acquisition mailboxes to ensure timely response to enquiries.
8. Develop relationships with selected agencies to help fill positions.
9. Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
10. Possess strong Excel skills and analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

BComm Degree in HR, Law, Business, or similar.
Previous work experience in recruitment (in-house and/or agency) – minimum 2 years.
Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
Proven track record of successfully helping businesses build teams in a high-growth environment.
Experience working with universities and organizing TA events to attract high-calibre talent (desirable).
Experience of different jurisdictions and/or cultures beneficial.
Deep understanding of the recruitment industry, particularly in executive search and specialized roles.
Fluency in Afrikaans beneficial.
